These days are a gift, best enjoyed around the table, filled with laughter and stories that turn into cherished memories. That’s why we’re sharing a simple yet delightful ritual: cooking together. These festive truffles, made with NaturaleBio products, are a treat rich in energy, fiber, and antioxidants thanks to maca and cacao. Pair them with a warm cup of Matcha DNA tea sprinkled with cinnamon, a cozy delight that nourishes both body and soul.

Festive Chocolate, Maca and Coconut Truffles

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons NaturaleBio cacao powder
  • 1 tablespoon NaturaleBio maca powder
  • 1 cup pitted dates (soaked in hot water for 10 minutes)
  • 1/2 cup almonds or walnuts (optional, for added texture)
  • 2 tablespoons NaturaleBio coconut oil (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 tablespoon NaturaleBio honey (optional, for extra sweetness)
  • A pinch of sea salt

Optional Decorations:

  • Additional shredded coconut
  • Crushed pistachios
  • Cacao powder

Preparation:

1. Blend the ingredients:
In a food processor, combine the drained dates, almonds or walnuts (if using), cacao powder, maca, cinnamon, and sea salt. Process until you achieve a smooth texture.
2. Add oil and sweeten:
Incorporate the coconut oil and honey, blending until fully combined.
3. Shape the truffles:
Scoop small portions (about a tablespoon) of the mixture and roll them into balls with your hands.
4. Coat them:
Roll the truffles in shredded coconut, cacao powder, or crushed pistachios, depending on your preference.
5. Chill:
Place the truffles in an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
